The world's oldest job....

From one mother to another….thank you . Thank you for investing time in your children. Thank you for caring enough not to give in to temper tantrums. Thank you for caring enough to say no and mean it. Thank you for going that extra mile with the homework. Thank you for the tears that have been shed, and the prayers that have been voiced. Thank you for hanging on when you could have let go and for letting go when hanging on would have been simpler.

Motherhood is the toughest 24 hour job, no pay, no day off, sometimes it is unappreciated. I have attempted to resign from the job several times before but with no avail; I am tied to this by by my heart strings.

A mother’s job is never done, there is no rest for the weary. There are tears to dry, joys to share, hugs to give, kisses to get, and most of love to share.

So happy mother’s day.
