Love my King of the Grill


Hubby was awesome today. After church he grilled everything he could get his hands on so now we have dinner and lunch for the next 3-4 days depending on if I can stretch the roast for 3 meals.

He grilled shrimp, steaks, chicken and a roast. I put potatoes and onions in foil and we had shrimp and steak for lunch. So now we have chicken for BBQ baked potatoes, fajitas or quesadillas(probably both) and Caesar salad. We have steak for fajitas and shrimp for quesadillas.

The roast hasn't been cut the coals died before it was finished. He actually tossed it on the grill frozen. So it is wrapped in foil and I am going to put it in the crock pot on low either Tuesday or Wednesday before I leave for work, that evening we will have roast, creamed potatoes and asparagus. Then we will have fried rice, and roast beef sandwiches, if (and that is a big if) I can squeeze one more meal out of it maybe beef and bean burritos.

I love days like today when my grill king goes to work. Makes my week a whole lot easier, even if it means changing up the menu. I will do it in a heart beat if means less prep time in the kitchen and more time with him.
