Faulty Faith?

Sunday morning we visited a new church and was slightly disappointed that the regular pastor was not there. He had had a death in his family so he was away. Anyway they had a really nice fella there speaking and he said something that caught my attention...”faith that fails at the end is faulty from the beginning.” This little statement made me stop and review my faith. Was it failing? Was it really faulty from the beginning. I don't think so but I do know I have stumbled along the way. I am sure many of us have stumbled, tripped and fallen. With all that is happening around us those of us that are believers and followers of Christ know that time is getting short. We can't quit now; however, we feel beaten down, run over and worn out. We have fought a good fight but there are still battles to go. So with that thought in mind I went in search of encouragement and a reminder....
(ESV)Revelation 20:7-10 : And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them, and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

See the war is already won. We just have to hang on and keep the faith.
(ESV)Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
