Laundry Stain Cheat Sheet

I have taken back my living room from the kitchen escapade. Yes it was quite an adventure having the refrigerator in the living room along with all the other appliances. Then I decided it was time to unpack more boxes I am happy to say that the only boxes in my living are priority mail boxes I am packing to send to family for Christmas. YAY me! Ok so I was getting claustrophobia I couldn’t stand it anymore I had to get rid of the boxes, and I tripped over a box while moving stuff back in the kitchen and well it wasn’t pretty. I was very upset with my family and myself for still having boxes sitting around. So I unpacked the remaining boxes and put everyone’s stuff where I thought it should go. I am such a loving wife and mom – LOL. Plus I had to have room for the Christmas tree which WILL go up this weekend. That was the major plan that was blasted to bits this past weekend.

While unpacking a box I ran across a sheet that I obtained I don’t where it came from but with the holidays in full swing I decided to share this cheat sheet because accidents do happen…

Laundry Stain Cheat Sheet

Chocolate-rinse the stain thoroughly, from the back if possible with cold water

Gum- freeze it by applying an ice cube to the gum. The frozen gum should break right off.

Coffee-with sponge, apply mixture of ½ teaspoon white vinegar to 2 cups cold water.

Red Wine-Apply a little white wine if available. Then sprinkle liberally with salt (it absorbs) and rinse immediately rubbing the stain out.

Ink-gently massage some aerosol hairspray into the stain, and then run it under cold water.

And last but not least

Homemade oxyclean- 1 cup water, ½ cup peroxide, ½ cup baking soda, mix together and soak laundry in it for 20 minutes to overnight and then was as usual. But sure and test a section on your item first since the peroxide may bleach it.
